The story
At an August 11 work session, the Toccoa City Commission discussed a draft purchasing policy. The draft laid out approval steps by dollar amount, including that purchases over $5,000, except as otherwise provided, must be approved by the City Commission.
The matter returned to the commission on August 25 as a Purchasing Ordinance for consideration.
The commission adopted the Purchasing Ordinance at that August 25 meeting.
