Toccoa minutes show historic-district briefing, not a documented commission approval

Toccoa City Commission minutes from May 23, 2011, document a briefing and questions about a proposed National Register of Historic Places district nomination, but they do not show that commissioners approved a public-information meeting or the nomination. Lynn Speno of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Historic Preservation Division gave the overview before commissioners asked questions, according to the minutes.
