Toccoa approves purchasing ordinance without second reading

The Toccoa City Commission unanimously approved a Purchasing Ordinance at its Aug. 25, 2025 meeting, then waived the measure’s second reading, completing the action in a single recorded meeting. Commissioner Jamieson moved to approve the ordinance and waive the additional reading; Vice-Mayor Hellenga seconded the motion, according to the meeting minutes.
