Toccoa’s 2012 sales-tax split was unanimous, but its current status is unclear

Toccoa’s City Commission unanimously approved a Certificate of Distribution on Oct. 8, 2012, directing the division of combined city-county local sales and use tax proceeds among three governments: 35.26% for Toccoa, 1.23% for Martin and 63.51% for Stephens County.
