Toccoa’s Schaefer Center Grant Bid Remains Unresolved in Public Record

Toccoa City Commissioners were scheduled to consider a resolution on Feb. 27, 2017, connected to a USDA Rural Business Development Grant application for the Schaefer Center. The proposal appeared as item C under new business on the City Commission meeting agenda, establishing that the possible federal-funding request was formally brought before the governing body. The agenda does not record what commissioners did with it.
