Toccoa’s most recent documented tourism-grant action dates to June 22, 2020, when the City Commission agenda scheduled consideration of a resolution authorizing a Tourism Product Development Grant application. The agenda shows the proposal reached commissioners for consideration, but it does not say whether they adopted it, rejected it or deferred it, leaving the action’s outcome unresolved in the public agenda record.

That missing disposition matters because an authorization to apply is not the same as a submitted application, a grant award or a completed tourism project. The agenda does not identify the project the 2020 application would have supported, nor does it list a grant amount, local match, application terms or eventual spending.
