Toccoa Sends Water-Vehicle Bids Back to Staff, Leaving Purchase Unsettled

Toccoa’s City Commission opened bids from two vendors for three water-utility vehicles on Jan. 25, 2011, then unanimously sent the matter back to city staff for further evaluation and a recommendation at the next meeting. The action stopped short of naming a winning vendor, approving a contract or authorizing the vehicles’ purchase.
