Toccoa’s City Commission was scheduled to consider a memorandum of understanding connected to the purchase of a van for the Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter at its Aug. 14, 2017 meeting. The item appeared as new business on the city’s published meeting agenda, placing the proposed vehicle arrangement before elected commissioners. The agenda, however, does not record a vote or final disposition.
