Toccoa Put Humane Shelter Funding on the Table, but Left the Outcome Unclear

Toccoa’s City Commission placed “Consideration of Humane Shelter Funding” on its new-business agenda for Aug. 24, 2015, putting a possible city commitment to a local animal-shelter service before the governing body. The agenda confirms that commissioners were scheduled to take up the question that day. It does not say whether they approved funding, rejected it, postponed it or took another action.
