Toccoa’s FY24 Budget Calendar Was Put Before Commissioners, but the Public Outcome Is Unclear

Toccoa’s City Commission placed consideration of an FY24 budget calendar on its Jan. 23, 2023 meeting agenda, formally bringing a proposed timetable for the city’s next budget process before elected officials. The agenda, however, records only that the item appeared as new business; it does not say whether commissioners approved the calendar, amended it, postponed it or took no action.
