Toccoa airport obstruction-removal contract reached commission, but outcome remains unknown

Toccoa’s City Commission put a construction contract for an Airport Obstruction Removal Project before commissioners at its April 12, 2021 meeting, a potentially consequential step toward on-the-ground airport work. But the meeting agenda records only that the contract was to be considered; it does not show whether the commission approved, rejected, postponed or otherwise disposed of the item.
