Toccoa picks Fire Line for $554,853 aerial fire-truck bid, but completion remains unclear

Toccoa’s City Commission unanimously chose Fire Line, Inc. on Oct. 11, 2010, to provide an E-One HP 75-foot Typhoon chassis aerial quint apparatus for the city fire department. The action accepted the staff-recommended bid award after Commissioner Austin made the motion and Commissioner Seib seconded it. Fire Line’s proposal was recorded as the lowest bid, at $554,853.
