Toccoa’s proposed annexation of eight city-owned sites still has no recorded decision

Toccoa’s City Commission placed a proposal to annex and initially zone eight city-owned properties on its Oct. 23, 2023 agenda, scheduling a public hearing for sites on Black Mountain Road, Falls Road, Highway 123, Fern Valley Drive, Ayers Drive, Swift Street and Old Liberty Hill Road. Nearly three years later, the agenda itself still does not establish whether commissioners approved, denied or otherwise acted on the requests.
