The story

An unaudited FY25 financial report presented to the Stephens County Board of Commissioners for the period through March 31, 2025 showed General Fund revenues of $20,577,788, or 93.14% of budget, against General Fund expenses of $15,612,215, or 70.67% of budget. The report also covered SPLOST VII, Capital Projects, Solid Waste, E911, ARPA and Jail Fund accounts, with SPLOST VII revenue at $4,025,619 (29.67% of budget).
