The story
The Habersham County Board of Tax Assessors voted unanimously on March 25, 2025 to approve a listing of homestead exemption applications for Tax Year 2025.
The board continued approving additional listings of Tax Year 2025 homestead exemption applications at meetings through the spring and summer, including April 22 (where it also approved a separate veteran homestead exemption listing), May 13, June 10, July 8, and August 12, each time by unanimous vote.
The board approved further Tax Year 2025 homestead exemption listings on September 9 and September 23, again unanimously.
Most recently, on October 28, 2025, the board unanimously approved another listing of homestead exemption applications for Tax Year 2025.
