Commissioners send nominee slates to Hospital Authority for two expired seats

The county board forwarded nominee slates for the Hospital Authority seats held by Dolly Ritchie and Dr. Josh Garrett, whose terms expired June 30, with the Authority making the final appointment.

At that June 16 meeting, the board voted 5-0 to nominate a slate for the Hospital Authority's consideration to fill Ritchie's seat, but voted 5-0 to table the Garrett seat appointment until the July 21 meeting.

The Garrett seat appointment was placed back on the agenda for the July 21 meeting and again for the August 18 meeting.
