Habersham’s proposed K-9 grant purchase still lacks a recorded board decision

Habersham County commissioners placed a proposal to use a GEMA Homeland Security Grant for a Sheriff’s Office K-9 and K-9 vehicle before the Board of Commissioners on Feb. 16, 2026. The meeting agenda identifies the proposed action, but it does not record whether commissioners approved it, rejected it or delayed it.
