The Franklin County Board of Commissioners took up the request, identified as RZ-2025-015 for applicant Alex Hart and property owners Alexander and Kayla Hart, at its August 4, 2025 meeting and approved it 5-0. The board attached conditions requiring a minimum 100-foot entrance into the poultry house driveway and that poultry commercial trucks enter from the Unawatti end.
