Demorest council adopts Local Emergency Operation Plan

The story

At a December 2 work session, city staff told the Demorest City Council that the Georgia Emergency Management Agency requires local governments to have a Local Emergency Operations Plan to ensure community preparedness for disasters. Staff presented the required resolution for council approval.
