On February 4, 2025, the Cornelia City Commission voted 4-0 to post Ordinance #02-25-01, a GMA Model Right of Way Ordinance update, for public comment.
The ordinance returned to the commission's March 4, 2025 agenda. Minutes from that meeting show the commission voted 4-0 to adopt an amendment to Chapter 14 setting a $.05 broadband right-of-way compensation fee.
