The story
A budget adjustment for the Cornelia Police Department was placed on the City Commission's August 2025 agenda.
The commission approved the adjustment 4-0 on a motion by Commissioner Bagwell, seconded by Commissioner Griggs. The adjustment moves proceeds from gun sales, at $300 per gun totaling $6,900, into the Police Department's equipment line.
