The story
In February 2025, the Cornelia City Commission heard that Peter Madruga of Habersham Education & Research planned to speak with commissioners about the 100th anniversary of the Big Red Apple and his plans to make a documentary about it.
More than a year later, Madruga was scheduled to give the commission an update on the documentary during the public forum portion of the May 2026 meeting agenda.
