Tallulah Falls gives mayor discretion on water-bill relief after city-caused flushing

Tallulah Falls City Council agreed Sept. 3, 2020, to allow the mayor to consider water-bill adjustments one customer at a time for residents who had to flush their water lines following a city-caused problem. The decision came after a water-quality issue in which a tank was inadvertently drained back into the system after a valve was left open.
