Tallulah Falls puts water projects at center of proposed SPLOST renewal request

Tallulah Falls City Council unanimously approved a proposed project list on April 11, 2024, asking that water infrastructure receive 75% of the city’s requested share in Rabun County’s anticipated special-purpose local-option sales tax renewal process. The remaining proposed shares were 20% for roads, bridges, rights-of-way, drainage and sidewalks, and 5% for gateway signage.
