Tallulah Falls approves SPLOST terms that spread city payments over six years

Tallulah Falls City Council unanimously approved a Rabun County special-purpose local-option sales tax agreement on Aug. 8, 2024, setting terms under which the city would receive its share of the tax revenue over six years instead of receiving funds up front. The council’s action was recorded in the meeting agenda packet with a motion, second and unanimous approval.
