Hickory Nut Mountain water concerns got a contact route, but well-house repairs remain unresolved

Tallulah Falls gave Hickory Nut Mountain residents a direct route for reporting water problems at its May 6, 2021 meeting, when Mayor Early said they could contact him or Scott Porter with EMS. In the same public-comment exchange, resident Barbara Rice said an old well house near her home needed attention; Early said he would look into repair bids and discuss the matter with EMS, without announcing an approved project or completed work.
