Tallulah Falls’ Search for Two Police Vehicles Still Lacks a Recorded Council Decision

Tallulah Falls’ public account of its effort to secure two new police vehicles remains at the search stage. At the City Council’s Oct. 12, 2023 meeting, Police Chief Elrod told members that availability of 2024 models was uncertain because of a strike and said she was pursuing possible 2023 inventory and another lead. The minutes record that update, but not a council selection, vote, authorization or purchase for either vehicle.
