Tallulah Falls Faces Growth Question: What Must Stay Rural, and What Must Change?

Tallulah Falls put a basic but consequential question before the community in a September 19, 2024 agenda packet: how can the town preserve the rural character residents value while preparing for growth, public-service demands and future capital improvements? The packet identified community input as central to the discussion and described pressures including possible growth, the management of U.S. 441, limited money for improvements and the need for service upgrades. It did not record a council vote, adopted plan or selected project.
