Tallulah Falls Seeks Answers After 400,000-Gallon Water Loss at Hickory Nut Mountain

Tallulah Falls officials reported May 9, 2024, that the Hickory Nut Mountain water system had lost 400,000 gallons during the preceding month, a worsening problem that Mayor Early said the town was trying to trace. He told the council that the town had contacted Georgia Rural Water for assistance as officials looked for a way to locate the source of the loss.
