Tallulah Falls Weighs Fire-Water Tank for Hickory Nut Mountain

Tallulah Falls officials discussed installing a 35,000-gallon fire-protection water tank on Hickory Nut Mountain at the Town Council’s Jan. 16, 2025 meeting, after the mayor said fire trucks did not have a water supply on the mountain. Officials said the proposed tank would be connected to the public water system, an arrangement intended to keep its water from becoming stale.
