Tallulah Falls’ proposed fiscal year 2021 budget faced a pointed question at a July 9, 2020, public hearing when a resident challenged a planned $12,000 transfer from the town’s General Fund to its Water Fund. Town Clerk Lapeyrouse presented the proposal, which covered the General Fund, Water Fund, capital projects and special-revenue funds, ahead of a special-called Town Council meeting scheduled for July 23.
