Tallulah Falls Water Fund Raised as Factor in Operating Shortfall, but Action Remains Unclear

Tallulah Falls officials identified an unbudgeted $24,000 transfer to the town’s water fund as a substantial part of an increase discussed during a Sept. 8, 2022 utility-service public hearing, where they examined whether water operations were contributing to an operating shortfall. A subsequent Oct. 13 agenda packet repeated that account, but neither packet documents a council vote or other resolution.
