Tallulah Falls weighs limits on growth as it seeks to protect rural character

Tallulah Falls put a wide-ranging growth-management package before officials on Sept. 19, 2024, scheduling consideration of Rabun County strategies that could reshape how development is guided in and around the town. The proposals included reviewing development and sign ordinances, identifying places suited to heavier development, limiting expansion of water, sewer and paved roads, and developing a greenspace strategy.
