Tallulah Falls Has No Recorded Council Assignment Giving Augustine Water Oversight

More than three years after Mayor Early recommended that Councilperson Augustine take responsibility for water matters, Tallulah Falls still lacks a documented Town Council action showing the assignment was approved. The recommendation surfaced during the council’s Jan. 18, 2023 organizational meeting, but the recorded action described in the minutes concerns a different office: Councilperson Fountain’s continuation as mayor pro tem.
