Tallulah Falls Considers Limits on Residential Construction Noise

Tallulah Falls scheduled a proposed rewrite of part of its noise ordinance for consideration on Oct. 17, 2024, potentially limiting construction, remodeling, demolition and non-emergency commercial-vehicle noise in residential districts. Under the proposed terms, that work could generate noise from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, but not on Sundays or legal holidays.
