Mark and Nancy Witt, owners of 1272 Lakeside Trail in Martin, sought a variance for an accessory structure and a reduced right-side yard setback on their property, Parcel 072F 066. The request asked for a 6-foot variance to the county's 10-foot right-side yard setback, leaving a 4-foot setback.
The Stephens County Board of Commissioners took up the request at its April 28, 2026 meeting and approved it unanimously on a motion from Vice-Chairman Oglesby.
