Reported rezoning puts Stephens County planned-unit development’s utility needs in focus

A reported Stephens County rezoning decision could clear an early land-use hurdle for a planned-unit development on 42 acres near Mize Road and the Highway 17 Bypass. In a Jan. 8, 2024 year-in-review report, WNEG Radio said the Stephens County Commission approved AK New Ventures, LLC’s rezoning application on Sept. 28, 2023; that approval has not been confirmed by an official commission record in the timeline.
