BRB Transport LLC’s plan to operate self-storage at 4613 Highway 17 in Toccoa remains short of a documented final county disposition, even though the Stephens County Planning Commission unanimously approved the conditional-use request on Jan. 6. The proposal concerns parcel 043 193A, and a Jan. 27 Board of Commissioners agenda scheduled the request for consideration with the Planning Commission’s recommendation for approval.
The question is not simply how the parcel is zoned. County materials describe it as Commercial General, while the conditional-use request would determine whether this specific Highway 17 property may be used for the proposed self-storage operation.
