Royston Council Approves Wellness Park Restroom Reservation for Planned 5K

Royston City Council unanimously approved a request tied to a planned 5K run at Wellness Park on Jan. 1, after Mainstreet Manager Kelly King said she had received an application from Yvonne Teasley with Melvin Hill. The applicants sought to reserve the park’s bathroom area, and King recommended approval. Councilman Fields made the motion, Councilman Hightower seconded it, and the council passed the measure 6-0.
