Royston’s proposed delinquent-tax filings for 160 parcels remain unconfirmed

Royston’s city manager told the council in an April operations report presented in May that the city planned to begin filing Fi-Fas on May 12 for roughly 160 delinquent property-tax parcels carrying more than $38,000 in tax value. The proposal marked a potential move from identifying overdue accounts toward collection filings, but the May meeting minutes do not say whether the city actually made those filings.
