Royston sets business tax tiers and triples fee for mobile operators

Royston City Council unanimously adopted its 2025 occupational-tax rates and regulatory fees at a meeting identified in the minutes only as November 2024, setting six tax tiers based on business employee counts and raising an administrative fee from $10 to $30. The 6-0 vote followed City Manager Lanier Dunn’s presentation of the proposal to the mayor and council.
