Lavonia approves alcohol-rule change for brew pubs and city-property events

Lavonia’s City Council approved an amendment to the city’s alcohol ordinance at its April 1, 2024 regular meeting, adding brew pubs with on-premises consumption and addressing alcohol permits for special uses on city-owned property. Andrew Murphy made the motion and Michael Schulman seconded it; the meeting minutes record that the motion carried.
