Lavonia assigns development authority’s daily operations to Franklin County board

Lavonia City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement on Feb. 5, 2024, placing day-to-day functions for Lavonia’s Development Authority with the Franklin County Industrial Building Authority. Draft minutes of the regular council meeting record a motion by Councilman Jeremy Madden, seconded by Michael Schulman, to enter the agreement; the motion carried.
