Habersham County Keeps Airport Fuel Contract at Three Years, Rejecting World Fuel Extension

Habersham County commissioners voted 4-0 at their Nov. 12, 2024, regular meeting to deny World Fuel’s request for a two-year extension of its airport fuel contract. The request would have changed the agreement from a three-year term to a five-year term; instead, the board kept the contract within the three-year period specified in the original request-for-proposals process.
