Habersham County proposes shifting plat approval from Planning Commission to director

A proposed update to Habersham County's Zoning and Unified Development Code would move plat approval authority away from the Planning Commission and give it to the Planning and Development Director. A document prepared for the Board of Commissioners describes the change as the only revision in the proposal: "Only change is giving Planning and Development Director plat approval authority removing it from Planning Commission."
