Habersham Commission Advances Ordinance Amendment With No Public Supporters Speaking

Habersham County commissioners unanimously accepted the first reading of a proposed ordinance amendment at their March 17, 2025, meeting, moving it toward a second reading and approval vote that the meeting minutes say was scheduled for April 21. Commissioner Harkness invited people wishing to speak in favor of the amendment to address the commission; none did. Commissioners Woodall and Mealor made and seconded the motion, which passed 3-0.
