Habersham’s proposed Georgia Power easement still has no documented outcome

Habersham County commissioners were scheduled on June 17, 2024, to consider selling Georgia Power an easement for a transmission line through county-owned property at 0 Toccoa Highway, identified on the agenda as Tax ID 105 001. The agenda placed the item before the Board of Commissioners as “Consider/Approve Sale of Easement,” but it did not record whether the board approved, rejected, postponed or changed the proposal.
