Habersham’s proposed rural fire-defense agreement still lacks a public outcome

Habersham County commissioners most recently put a proposed Rural Fire Defense Cooperative Lease Agreement and memorandum of understanding with the Georgia Forestry Commission on their July 15, 2024 agenda. The item was listed for consideration, but the agenda does not say whether commissioners approved it, rejected it, deferred it or took another action.
