Habersham County approved a larger airport hangar plan, but its construction remains unresolved

Habersham County commissioners unanimously voted Feb. 15, 2021, to abandon a previously approved six-unit T-hangar project at Habersham County Airport and authorize a larger replacement of nine or 10 units. Their action also allowed then-County Manager Phil Sutton to sign documents needed to pursue financing for the expanded project, but it did not establish that the loan was secured or that construction began.
