Habersham authority weighs buyer-paid grading with possible public reimbursement at Pad 10

The Habersham County Development Authority considered changing the purchase contract for Pad 10 at the Airport Business Park during its July 13, 2023, regular meeting, proposing a 3.83-acre sale at $45,000 an acre. Under the proposed amendment, the buyer would take responsibility for permitting and grading the site, with the authority able to reimburse only grading costs it approved.
